Personalized support for adults and children
You have been trying to solve the pieces. We look at the pattern.
Maybe you wake up tired even after a full night of sleep. Maybe your child sleeps with their mouth open, struggles with oral habits, or seems restless at night. Maybe you have jaw tension, clenching, headaches, tongue posture concerns, or a sense that your symptoms are connected, but no one has explained how.
At The Breathing Room, we look at the way breathing, oral function, tongue posture, sleep, and nervous system patterns work together, so you can stop guessing and start understanding what your body may be trying to tell you.

Poor oral function and airway patterns can show up in ways that seem unrelated at first. Myofunctional therapy helps evaluate the habits and muscle patterns behind breathing, oral rest posture, swallowing, jaw comfort, and sleep related concerns.

Myofunctional therapy does not diagnose medical sleep disorders or replace care from your physician, dentist, orthodontist, ENT, or sleep provider. We support oral function and collaborate with your care team when appropriate.
What myofunctional therapy does
Myofunctional therapy retrains the muscles and patterns of the mouth, tongue, lips, cheeks, jaw, and airway. We look at how you breathe, rest your tongue, swallow, chew, and use the muscles of your mouth and face throughout the day and night.
Instead of only managing symptoms, we look for the patterns your body, or your child’s body, may be compensating for. The goal is better function, clearer direction, and support that fits real life.
Better breathing patterns
Support for nasal breathing, lip seal, tongue posture, and oral rest position.
Better sleep foundations
Support for oral and airway patterns that may contribute to restless sleep, snoring, mouth breathing, or waking tired.
Better long term function
Support for chewing, swallowing, jaw comfort, oral habits, orthodontic stability, and whole-body wellness..
Start with an Airway & Breathing Assessment
The Airway & Breathing Assessment is a focused consultation designed to help you understand how breathing patterns, oral function, tongue posture, jaw habits, sleep concerns, and symptoms may be connected.
You will leave with clearer direction, a personalized recommendation, and a better sense of whether private myofunctional therapy, The RESET, provider collaboration, or another next step makes the most sense.
